About Loki
Loveable Loki is a Kelpie x Black Labrador who is 5 years old. He is, enjoys sun baking, snuggling by the fire, and willingly takes a good ear scratch or pat on the head and loves cuddles with his humans.
Loki was adopted through FarmDogz a few years ago but sadly his home situation has changed significantly which means he is luckily available to the right family for a new homelife.
His family have invested time training him and he will happily sit at your feet at a cafe or will tuck himself into bed when he needs some downtime.
Loki enjoys walks and especially loves to have some one-on-one time and of course being told he’s a “good boy”.
He is fully crate trained and would suit a person who desires true companionship from their dog, who has stability in their life and are happy to provide the right amount of reassurance and love
His new owner must continue to implement the recommendations for his training to ensure he adjust to the new home.
Loki is happy to have a dog companion, ideally we would recommend an older, settled dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.

We only consider applicants that have completed our adoption application form. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1) Email and ask for an adoption application to be sent on farmdogzrescueinc@gmail.com
2) Check your SPAM FOLDER
3) Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form.
4) This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.
5) If you are successfully shortlisted, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a time for you to meet the dog in question.
6) A home visit will need to be conducted.
7) Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2-4 week trial period immediately.
8) The adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
9) During the first week 2 week trial period, we encourage you to follow all our instructions to ensure the dog settles into your family structure.
10) If during the trail period you should need any assistance or you decide that this dog is not for you, you MUST contact our state adoptions coordinator ASAP. (The more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available.)
Please note if the decision is made for you to return the dog for you to receive your payment you will, within 10 business days of the return of the dog.
