About Bella
Bella is a happy and energetic 10 month old kelpie girl, who loves nothing more than a snuggle with her humans, once her brain has been worked and the play is done.
Bella loves to be amongst the action, whether it is a long walk, a play with the ball or just shadowing her humans. Once she has had her play, Bella has a good off switch, and has been content to sleep at the feet of her foster carer during the workday.
Bella is good with kids and doesn’t get over excited or jump up. She is quick to make friends with anyone she meets, and has been very respectful and sociable with dogs she has met. Bella has become very fond of zoomies and play wrestling with her foster sister.
Bella travels well in the car, is housed trained and sleeps through the night. She will sit and wait politely for her dinner, and with gentle reinforcement is walking well on the lead. Bella is still working on her recall and ‘down’ and ‘stay’ commands, but she is a girl who wants to please and has picked things up quickly in her foster home. While Bella has some good foundational training, like any pup she needs someone who will commit to her ongoing training and provide clear boundaries.
With all the energy that you would expect of a kelpie pup, Bella will be best suited to a home with plenty of space and an active household where she can be a part of the daily activities. She would do well in a home where there is another dog to play with and learn from.
If you are looking for a doggy companion who greets you with a smile and full body wags, then Bella is the girl for you!
