About Louie - 6 Month Old Shar Pei X
Louie is a 6 month old male Sharpei X.
Louie came into care with 3 of his siblings at around 10 weeks old.
He adores playing with other dogs, and will run and chase till he is warm out and then has a good sleep, snoring his little heart out.
He has lots of his favourite toys and has learnt to sit, and is getting really good at fetch and bringing his ball back. His leash training is also going super well
Louie will need to go to a home with another dog of similar size and personality. He’s a sensitive boy and doesn’t like to be alone too much so will thrive with a brother or sister fur sibling.
He is such a sweetheart, cheeky and just wants to be loved. He can be quite shy and timid around new people and new situations until he knows he’s safe.
He loves to go in the car for a drive to the park or the beach and will need someone willing to spend more time with him than not.
He is very weary of younger children so a home with older teenagers would be the best fit for him.
He has spent some time around my families cats ( not at my place ) but seems to like them and if anything seems to want to play with them.
He is a very very special and sweet natured boy and will need someone that can be patience and give him lots of love and attention.
Louie Overview:
• Dog friendly
• Ongoing training required but learning more everyday
• New home will need to have a fur brother or sister
• Loves are rides and adventures
• Children over 12 years old only

(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
