About Pete - 7 Month Old Staffy X (Trial)
Are you missing some staffy love in your life? Well look no further because you have found your cuddle bug and constant companion. Everyone meet Pete.
Pete is happiest when he is around his people. Hanging with you in the garden, playing in the yard with a ball or toy or quietly laying down beside you while you work or watch TV. Most impressive of all though, is that he gives the best cuddles.
Pete is a chilled boy and not in any way high energy. He would make an excellent addition to any family looking for a loving loyal companion.
He is fantastic on a short lead and loves saying hello to the people and dogs he meets out on his adventures with you. Pete also likes nothing more than hitting the cafe after a walk, where he happily watches the world go by while you enjoy your coffee.
Do you like going to the beach or being around water? Lucky because so does Pete! Pete loves playing with water and cooling off at the beach or lake after a walk.
At seven months Pete is pretty much through the puppy stage. He is toilet trained, uses a doggie door, is crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night. He knows sit, down, in your bed, sits for food and takes treats very gently.
Pete has had great socialisation with dogs of all sizes and ages. He absolutely adores children and has grown up with primary aged kids.
Pete would benefit from having a calm social doggie companion who he could continue learn from. He could however happily be an only dog if his humans were around more often than not and showered him with attention.
Pete has not been tested with cats or pocket pets so a home without these would be best.
Pete is on the larger size of a medium dog, with loads of love to give. He currently weighs 20kgs and will need someone in his life who is prepared to have a bigger dog and all that goes with it.
Pete's overview
- Needs a fun loving family who is willing to commit to consistent training, regular exercise, socialisation, mental stimulation and opportunities for games, walks, and lots of play.
- Loves humans so needs a family who are around more often than not.
- Needs to be an inside/outside dog with a bed inside at night and be a part of the family so he can share your adventures.
- Fully fenced yard.
