About Tim
Handsome Tim is a 4 year old Wolfhound mix who has found himself searching for a new forever home.
Tim has unfortunately found it difficult adjusting to a change in his home life and his owners have made the hard decision to find him a new home. Tim is incredibly affectionate and loves to hang out with his humans on the lounge. He loves a good walk and will need his new family to take him for lots of walks to the dog park or beach. His new home will also need to allow him inside and include him in family activities. Tim will need an experienced human who will understand his needs and help him learn the right way. Tim does suffer from some anxiety and is currently taking medication for this. He finds visits to the vet quite scary and will need his new family to help him with this. Tim loves other dogs and is great playing with them at the dog park but is uncomfortable when dog’s approach him while he’s on lead. Tim can also resource guard his food and treats so will need guidance with this and humans who understand it’s best to just leave him alone while he is eating.
Tim’s current family will be happy to explain all his traits and to discuss anything further that you may need to know. Tim is in Marrickville.

* Opportunities for socialization outside the home? Whilst some of our dogs are best in only dog homes, most of our dogs have been provided with lots of socialisation and will need this to be ongoing.
* Work commitments? How long will the dog be on their own?
* Why do you think this breed will be suitable for you? Breed type experienced owners will generally be given priority.
* Will you allow this pooch to live both inside and outside as part of the family?
* Yard check will be done to confirm you have a fully fenced secure yard and adequate shelter when the dog or pup is outdoors.
Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family. He/she will be desexed,1st and 2nd vaccination, microchiped, wormed and flea treated regularly and a health check done by our vet .
