Billie

Billie is a beautiful staffy mix (possibly with whippet) who is quite small for her breed mix. Sadly her person is moving overseas so Billie needs to find a new loving home who will provide a cozy couch for snoozing on.

Billie loves to be around her people. She loves curling up next to someone and having a nap, with her favourite place being lounging in a hammock. She is always searching for the warmest spot in the house, either under the heater vent or patch of sunshine. She loves a cuddle and a good back scratch! Billie isn’t overly active, mostly just chilling out at home, but she does enjoy a run and play given the opportunity.

Billie loves a game of fetch or playing tug o' war... but anywhere her regular people are, she is happy to be! At first she can be a bit shy (especially around men) but once she works out you can be trusted and may have a treat, she'll be all over you. She can be quite playful and bouncy so best with kids 6+. Her current owner is working really hard on Billie's obedience and Billie is loving the challenge or learning new stuff! She is crate trained and progressing beautifully with her lead work.

She doesn't like thunder or loud noises. These make her anxious but some music or white noise helps her calm down really quickly. She is also anxious at the vet and wears a muzzle during examinations so her new people will need to work on this moving forward.

Billie hasn't lived with another dog before but isn't fussed about them when she sees one on a walk. She currently lives with two cats and is totally fine with them, playing with one and giving the other space.

Billie would love a person/people who are home to keep her company and can commit to continuing her training. Though she has never escaped, she can jump HIGH so decent fencing is needed. Overall she is a very cruisy dog who just wants a warm lap to cuddle on and someone to love her. Could that someone be you?
