With her long legs and model looks, the stunning Hush, is ready to find her tribe.
Hush is a little reserved and takes a little time to warm to people, but once she feels safe, she just blossoms.
She will shadow you, but is more than ok being left alone while you go to work, as long as you don’t forget to take her for lots of walks. She is not destructive being on her own.
She adores her walks and is most comfortable when she is out and about in the open air. Sometimes she just gets so excited that she will pull in her haste to enjoy the sunshine, but more often than not, she will happily just trot by your side.
Hush is deaf, but learning commands with hand movements. She is very visual based, so if she doesn’t hear you come in, she can get a little anxious when you just pop up out of nowhere but will quickly settle. She is looking for a patient home that understands she needs time to adapt to her surroundings. Hush will quickly learn a new routine.
Her preference is for an adult only family however, older dog savvy kids will be considered if the environment is relatively calm. Hush doesn’t like dogs very much, so she would be best suited to a home where she will have minimal contact with them, and where you can re-direct when there are dogs on her walks. She is however learning to live with confident cats. Initially she would give chase but now has come to learn that she needs to live with them in harmony. Hush is very trainable and still has lots of energy for a senior dog, but more than happy to lay at you feet when you need downtime.
