About Ralph 11031
If you're a cat enthusiast looking for a new furry friend, Ralph might just be your perfect match. This handsome kitty is eagerly awaiting his forever home & has a distinctive hair cut (you know, the kind you get in primary school when your mum puts a bowl on your head and cuts your hair around it).
Ralph is a seasoned cat, ideally suited for those who have had the pleasure of cat companionship before. This dapper gentleman is an indoors-only kitty, and he has a preference for a home where he can soak up the indoor comforts. Whether you live in a bustling, lively household or a peaceful, serene abode, Ralph is your guy.
His easy-going nature makes him a pleasure to be around, and he's the type of cat who will happily adapt to your daily routine.
Ralph has a laid-back demeanour. He's always eager to chat about his day and provide purring approval for your affection.
Ralph may have a quirk or two, but they only add to his unique charm. He's open to meeting kids aged 10 years and up, we recommend this age because he sometimes gets a little too enthusiastic and may love bite when he’s super excited – fear not as these little acts of love do not hurt at all but may give people a little shock if they’re not expecting it.
On the other hand when he’s patted in the right spot he’ll give you little licks on the hand to show his approval.
He relishes being picked up and held, and his eyes light up with joy when you lavish him with pats. As he continues to explore his playful side, Ralph is still discovering his favourite toys and games.
While he prefers to be the sole feline in the household, Ralph is open to the idea of sharing his kingdom with fellow cats, provided that the introduction is done at a gentle pace. Dogs, however, are not his cup of tea, so a dog-free home is a must.
When it comes to food, Ralph is easy to please – he loves it all! You won't have to worry about finicky eating habits with this guy. Plus, he's a model litter box user, so no litter box surprises to stress over.
This lovable fur ball is the purrfect companion for anyone seeking a calm, affectionate, and chatty cat. He's suitable for families, couples or singles wanting to add a handsome cat sporting a fancy hair cut into their fold.
Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
