About Monica
Monica is a very sweet bundle of energy. She's playful mischievous and curious, and really loves spending time with people.
She is a very active, smart and energetic girl who needs to be exercised regularly and would thrive with training, guidance and firm boundaries.
She wants to be the boss dog, so would be best suited to a home as the only dog. Her doggy manners need work, so training will be pretty essential for Monica.
Could be suited to full time workers, as long as she is exercised physically and mentally, as her high energy levels lead to anxiety and destructive behaviour when left alone for long periods, or if she gets bored.
Monica has been in foster with a cat, and is inclined to chase him, but has gotten on well with him. She hasn't been tested with small animals, but given her inclination to chase, would suggest that she would be best in a home without them. She is choosy with her dog friends, and is reactive to dogs. Though she is in foster care with another dog, this took some time for her to accept him and with careful management.
If given the right training and enrichment, Monica will be a beautiful, loving and loyal companion.
