Myella is a gorgeous, affectionate and calm girl who wants nothing more than to please you. She is a Snooze Queen so she can (and will) nap anytime, anywhere!
She is smart, chilled out and very easy going. She is happy to be home while you are away and has no separation anxiety or destructive behaviour.
Myella loves spending time outdoors and is friendly and respectful with all dogs she has met.
Myella loves to sit in her bed and keep watch while her foster mum works from home, loves standing up on her back legs to give a big smooch, absolutely adores her chew toys and soft toys and enjoys relaxing in the garden.
She is calm, friendly, affectionate, good with routine, playful, energetic (with an ability to switch off as required), not aggressive and receptive to commands and your vibe. She hardly barks at home or outside and is very friendly with visitors.
Although quite large compared to her foster siblings, she is very gentle with them.
Myella has shown no signs of food aggression or resource guarding. However, some supervision at dinner time will be helpful, as required.
Myella would love to go to a home with a similar sized dog as being young, she enjoys a good run around and play time with her doggie mates. Her energy levels are moderate so she would be happy with a medium sized backyard with regular visits to off lead dog parks, beach walks, hiking trails and all other adventures you could possibly think of. She travels very well in the car and loves to look out the window or have a nap.
Myella walks well on lead, however, some ongoing training will be beneficial.
She is doing very well with commands like sit, no, go slow, come here, go to bed, sleep etc.
Myella sleeps through the night and is toilet trained. Some training to use the doggy door will really help her have a good mix of indoor and outdoor time. She is best suited for a home where she is included in activities, adventures, and everyday life as much as possible.
Teenagers or upper primary dog-savvy kids will be good for Myella. Not tested with young children although she should be fine with them after sufficient training and supervision. If you are willing to open your home to two dogs - Myella would love to be adopted with her friend Matcha, a male cattledog x also on Pet Rescue.
