About ⛈Stormy⛈
Stormy is a super sweet little lady who is hoping to start the next part of her journey with her new family.
She is the definition of ‘no trouble’ and likes to spend her day lazing away in her bed, on the couch or sometimes in her foster mum's wardrobe. Once you’re home she is happy to have a chat and a snuggle on the couch and will often hold your hand as she purrs and naps on it. Stormy loves to play when the mood strikes her and her favourite toys are ones that move and let her pounce on them or the crinkly balls that she can bat around the house.
She has absolutely no concern about other cats and has been more than happy to co-exist with her feline foster brother and sister. She would be happy to have the company of a friendly feline in her new home but she would also be fine to have her humans to herself too. Stormy has previously lived with children and would be happy to do so again as long as they are over the age of 12 and are able to let her settle in in her own time.
Like all flat-faced cats she needs help keeping her face clean. Stormy often purrs through her facial time each day so as long as her new people are consistent, she’ll be happy to oblige. Previously Stormy has had her coat clipped regularly and we would recommend this continues as her full coat is just too much for her to manage on her own.
Stormy has been to visit our friends at Animal Eye Care in Malvern who diagnosed her with a corneal sequestrum. She is currently having one eye drop twice a day and while it isn’t her favourite thing, she is tolerant of it. She will need a recheck in November to ensure the ulcer is improving but she will likely need ongoing drops, so her new family need to be happy to commit to this. For this reason Stormy is looking for a foster with a view to adopt home with Squishies continuing to cover the costs associated with her eye care until it has been signed off by her specialist.
Stormy is in care in Narre Warren South
Medical notes
Stormy is desexed, microchipped and up to date with her vaccinations and parasite treatments.
