Smokey is simply beautiful! He's a handsome, medium-large boy who's very calm, laid-back, no jumping up or charging around. He's a loyal and affectionate boy; a real family companion dog. Smokey's favourite things are being around people, cuddles on the couch, and playing. He sleeps inside and is toilet trained and well behaved in the home. He takes treats as gently as a lamb! He's an awesome companion to have around. He shows such loyalty and affection towards his carers. Smokey doesn't enjoy being on his own and does need human interaction and company so active retirees, workers from home or part timers would be fabulous for him.

Smokey gets on well with the other dogs he's met. He is good around the caged birds he lives with, and the wildlife (birds) in his backyard. His carer ensures he sees new dogs to keep his socialisation skills honed. He does appear to want to chase cats however.

Beautiful Smokey is an active dog looking for owners who enjoy a daily walk. He likes car rides and makes a wonderful co-pilot! He enjoys going on walks and his lead skills are pretty good. Someone used to handling medium-large dogs should be able to walk him with no problem.

Smokey is a kind fella with a winning personality and will make a great pet for a loving family, couple or single home with an active lifestyle and lots of love to spare.

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership fee), flea and worm treatment and sterilisation.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
