Hoping to adopt a cat who's always happy to see you? Then Jax is your boy!
Jax is the epitome of friendliness. This dapper gentleman is not shy at all, and readily approaches new people and environments with an open heart :) He adapts easily to any new setting, making him an ideal companion for those who have an ever-changing lifestyle. Jax is easily bribed with food, and his love for wet food knows no bounds!
Jax thrives on attention from humans and is never far from your side. He loves being patted and cuddled, and has a soft and gentle meow to express his desires. Jax enjoys playing on his own and is content with just a single toy to chase around. In the evenings, he's the perfect TV-watching buddy, contentedly lounging by your side.
Jax's curiosity doesn't lead to naughtiness; instead, he enjoys staring out of the window, observing the world beyond. He's the embodiment of a friendly, easygoing, and low-maintenance cat, always ready to provide comfort and entertainment to his human family :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Jax is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be fairly calm and quiet, where I can chill out with my human companions and be generously showered with pats and snuggles!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I tend to match my energy level to that of my human, whether it's a cosy evening in or a lively day of play. I'm really the purrfect perfect feline friend for anyone who craves companionship and a stress-free, relaxed atmosphere!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Though I haven't met any children yet, I'm extremely sociable and will probably get along well with cat-loving kids after a careful introduction.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm the only kitty in my foster home and I've not had any interactions with other animals before. Having said that, my chill nature might help in peacefully coexisting with other nice pets!

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
