About Toby
Meet Toby!
He is a beautiful, happy, playful boy who has loads of energy.
We are helping his owners find him his new forever home after them finding him to not be the right fit.
He has loads of energy and needs both physical and mental stimulation. Daily walks and activities are needed to help occupy himcans keep him from getting bored. If Toby gets bored he can bark. He's also very interested in birds and will bark at them when they sit on the fence.
He is a smart boy and knows sit, shake, is toilet trained and crate trained.
He had attended puppy school and would benefit from some more training classes.
Hes a big smooch and loves cuddles on the couch. He loves playing chasies with the kids when they play outside and lays down and lets the carers baby play with him.
He can get unhappy with kids when they don't respect his boundaries, so will require a home with kids old enough to understand this.
He currently lives with kids aged 13 years - 9 months old.
He hasn’t been tested with cats.
May suit another dog home, but meet and greet would be required.
While Toby loves walks, this is something he does need some further training with. He can get very over excited when he sees another dog on walks and may bark at them. This is partly due to lack of socialising with other dogs.
With more training on distractions and learning how to interact appropriately with other dogs this will improve!
