About Theo
This little delight is Theo, a handsome Neopolitan Mastiff mix born on 14 March 2023.
Despite the fact he'll grow into a strapping fellow, Theo's very much a lap dog at heart! He's a gentle soul who loves pats and cuddles and gives lots of affection in return.
Neapolitan Mastiffs are highly intelligent, loyal dogs, who are affectionate and gentle with family, steady, calm and very willing to please their owners - all qualities which shine through in Theo.
Though timid in new environments, Theo settles in quickly with love and reassurance. He's learning his puppy manners and basic commands, and will need this basic training to continue in his forever home.
Theo loves human company, is good with children, and gets on well with other dogs. He's untested with cats, as there are none in his current foster home.
His ideal forever home would be one where someone is around most of the time and/or there is another compatible dog for Theo to play with. The option of being allowed indoors to snuggle on the couch is also high on Theo's wish list!
As always, secure fencing and space to play are essential.

Dogs:
The first step in our adoption process is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ This is a mandatory step and you are encouraged to answer all questions and provide photos of your yard and fencing.
All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
The "meet and greet" is held in Warwick, Queensland. If successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
