About Bella
Bella is a very loving, sweet and gentle girl. She loves all people and gets on well with kids. Her favourite things include lactose free cream cheese, treats of any kind and playing tug of war with her rope.
A warm hearted and a big softie, Bella is what we can only describe as 'angelic' at home, she is chill when left alone and has adapted to life in an apartment with ease. Her main objective in life is to cuddle on the couch and hang out with her family. She really is content just being with her people.
She loves to chase a ball and is very good in the car. She walks well on leash but is not quite sure about dogs out and about, so walks in quieter areas are much more enjoyable. Bella needs continued training when out on walks, she can be very strong when she sees other dogs and needs clear leadership.
MY IDEAL HOME: She is comfortable living in an apartment with a balcony but has also lived in a house with a backyard. She's very comfortable being left at home while her people go to work. But she needs a good walk every day.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Mostly couch potato provided she has a daily outing.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Very suitable. She is a gentle soul who has grown up around children and is genuinely delighted to be around them.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Bella is best as the only dog in the home, she can be good with dogs she knows but can be reactive to those that she doesn't. She has come a long way with her training and continues to improve, Bella would benefit from a family happy to continue working on it so she becomes the best dog she can be. She is not suited to live with cats.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
