About Scooter
Allow us to introduce the very special Scooter.
Scooter didn't get to spend much time with people whilst he was a young kitten and still learning how great people can be. He has made a lot of progress whilst spending time in foster care, and now on the look out for a furever home to continue building his confidence.
Once settled in Scooter is quite active, and loves play time and some pats. Being picked up is still a concept he unsure of and very slowly getting used to.
The type of home Scooter will thrive best in will be a quiet, adult home that has experience being a guardian of a timid cat. A predictable routine helps him to know what to expect.
He will need a small safe space to get used to first and as he gets to know you and settle in, then he can be very slowly introduced to more of his new home.
Scooter has requested not to have too many visitors to start with? It is going to be overwhelming enough getting to know you, he wont cope with visitors as well.
Although humans as friends is a new concept for Scooter, he is used to having feline friends, and doesn't mind a friendly canine companion either. A confident feline friend is a must in his new home so they can help him as he settles into his new digs and for lots of snuggle and play time.
If you think your home fits what Scooter is looking for then please chat to the Peninsula staff on 5978 9001 or you can pop in during adoption opening hours (10am-4pm, but please give plenty of time to meet Scooter).
