About Sheldon 11025
Are you ready to welcome a new member into your family, someone who will fill your home with love, warmth, and endless affection? Look no further because Sheldon is here to steal your heart!
Sheldon is the epitome of a low-maintenance cat, making him the ideal choice for first-time cat parents and experienced cat lovers alike. This charming fellow is as adaptable as they come and can thrive in a variety of home environments, whether it's a bustling, lively household or a peaceful, serene sanctuary.
Sheldon's preference for indoor living means he'll thrive in a safe and quiet environment because loud noises tend to spook him. However, he did enjoy our cat park (until the dogs started barking).
Sheldon is open to meeting kids of any age, making him a fantastic addition to families with children. His gentle and social nature ensures he'll be a loving and patient playmate for your little ones.
Sheldon is open to meeting other cats with a slow and controlled introduction. He's also shown potential to live with a calm and quiet dog who won't overwhelm him with barking.
Sheldon is a confident and comfortable cat with very low and easy-going energy requirements. He has a social, agreeable, and outgoing personality. While he wasn't always into play, he now loves soft toys and will entertain you with his adorable antics.
Sheldon isn't fussy with food. He loves everything you offer him, making mealtime a breeze. And don't worry about litter box issues - he'll be content with a large-sized or enclosed litter tray.
Sheldon adores human interaction. He loves being picked up, carried, and handled, making him the perfect snuggle buddy. He'll flop in front of you, soak up as many pats as you can give, and even make air-biscuits while purring with content. Be prepared for some endearing drooling – it's a sign of just how happy he is!
While not super vocal, Sheldon will chat with you throughout the day, making your home feel even more vibrant with his charming presence.
Sheldon is a social butterfly who thrives on attention and affection. Whether you're a family, a single individual, or a couple, he's the perfect addition to your life. He's ready to bring joy, love, and countless cuddles into your home.
Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
