About Nova 280
Allow us to introduce Nova, a lovely rabbit who's ready to hop into your heart and become a cherished member of your family.
Nova is a beautiful rabbit with a personality as unique as her name. She's a sweet and gentle girl who is best suited to a home with experienced rabbit owners who understand her needs. Nova is a wise choice for those who appreciate the charm and intelligence that rabbits bring into our lives.
We encourage you to provide Nova with a secure hutch, complete with ample shade, to keep her safe and comfortable. While she loves her outdoor space, Nova has proven herself to be a neat and tidy bunny, using a litter tray or a designated area for her bathroom needs. With her excellent litter habits, she may even be suitable to live indoors with further training.
Nova is open to meeting gentle, respectful kids aged 10 years and up. With her calm and composed demeanour, she'll make a fantastic companion for older children who can appreciate her need for a quiet and peaceful environment.
Nova came into our care with another rabbit companion, and she's shown her social side by displaying friendly behaviour with her fellow bunnies. If you're considering adding another rabbit to your family, Nova might be the perfect match for an existing bunny friend.
Nova is a shy girl who prefers a calm and quiet atmosphere. Therefore, we don't recommend placing her in a home with dogs or cats. She deserves a space where she can feel safe and secure, allowing her to come out of her shell and show her true colours in her own time.
Nova is a laid-back girl with low energy levels, making her an excellent choice for those who appreciate a more relaxed and easy-going pet. She's independent and somewhat agreeable, and while she's not too interested in toys, she absolutely adores burrowing and scratching around. Food is definitely her love language, with hay and grass being her favourite treats.
Nova might not be a fan of being picked up just yet, but she's still learning to trust human interaction. If you're willing to be patient and let her blossom at her own pace, you'll be rewarded with a loving and devoted companion.
Nova is eagerly waiting for the right person or family to open their hearts and homes to her. She's a special rabbit with a lot of love to give. If you think you can provide the calm and loving environment that Nova deserves, don't hesitate to contact us to meet this wonderful girl.
Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
