Thor - 11 Month Old Chihuahua X Mini Foxy (Trial)

Meet Thor an 11 month old chihuahua x mini foxy. He is 5kg of pure sass, energy and love!

When Thor isn’t snuggling up with his foster mum and giving her kisses, his favourite things to do are to go crazy running around the yard with his foster sister. He loves playing chasies and wrestling. So for this reason he will definitely need another high energy pup to live with, preferably around his size and a nice big yard to run around in.

His other favourite thing to is to chill about chewing on a bone or toy.

Thor loves to follow his humans around everywhere and anywhere. He is a little shadow!

Thor is fully toilet trained and goes out his doggy door onto the grass which he always has access to.

We are doing very well with basic commands such as sit, but further training will be needed as he grows!

Thor must be able to be part of his new family’s everyday life, he loves to hang out with everyone and needs to be able to sleep on the bed at night.

He hasn’t been tested with cats. He can be nervous of new dogs at first but warms up quickly!

Thor is in foster care in Kurri Kurri, NSW area. They are currently available for interstate adoption. The adoption fee is $700.00 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.

PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provides individual listings with specific requirements for each foster dog. If you submit an application or inquiry and DO NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.

This organisation's adoption policy is moderate. What does this mean?
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
