Hi there! My name is DJ and I'm looking for my forever home!!
Currently I'm staying at my foster home. I have a foster mum and dad, a teenage boy, and two doggie mates. I also have two small fluff balls ("guinea pigs" they are called) and some feathery friends, but they seem to not care about me so I really don't have a chance to play with them.
I'm house- and crate-trained. I sleep in my cozy den inside at night, and don't make a single peep until you wake up in the morning. I'm still young and have some puppy energy, but am quite chilled most of the time and happily lazing around the yard.
I love my doggie friends. I enjoy playing with my foster sister (especially the wrestling!!). I like rough and tumble, so would prefer to have a biggish sized doggy brother or sister in my new home. Having doggie friends is awesome, but I can be an only dog too. If you stay home most of the time, or give me plenty of toys while you are out, I will be happy playing by myself until you have time to spend with me.
My favorite time is going out with my people. Daily walks are fun, but I love exciting adventures! I enjoy car rides and meeting new people at new places. I hope my future family will take me out a lot so that I can keep exploring the world.
I'm a very friendly guy with good manners. I'm very gentle with small people too, but I might knock them over by accident due to my size (my tail is at a dangeous hight for them too, you know). I don't want to hurt them, so not having small children in my new home will be preferable.
My foster home has 5-6 foot fences all around. I'm not a jumper or climber, but am a quite big boy, so I need high strong fences to keep me safe. I really don't need a big yard. Just enough space for running around and some zoomies. My favorite toys are balls (bigger is better!) and ropes. You can teach me how to play tug-of-war or fetch when we have some nice clear days.
Do I sound right for you? If you think I'm the guy you are looking for, please come and meet me!!
