About Clarry
Clarry might look like a big boy, but he would like to reassure you that he's actually just a baby! All he needs in life is snacks, naps, and a human to hold him and give him all the snuggles.
Affectionate and loving, this gorgeous boy prefers company (either human or hound). In fact he makes an excellent work-from-home supervisor and household manager - he's the first one up and the last one to bed, if there's a job to be done he is happiest "helping" and will get involved in all your important tasks for the day, to ensure you never feel lonely whole you check off that to do list!
A big fan of the sniffari, energetic Clarry would enjoy an active home who love getting out and about, and want to bring him along for the adventure. He is still learning about collaborative play though, and while he'll happily zoom around the yard, humans trying to entice him to fetch a toy or run with them can be a bit too overwhelming, he would prefer you just watch and appreciate his displays like a good adoring audience.
Clarry is all dog social, happy to politely greet the small fluffy friends he meets on his walks. His foster home describes him as "not having a mean bone in his body" and that he delights them with his floppy puppy-like goofing around, his tail always wagging for the joy of being around his humans.
A cheeky opportunist, Clarry will require a home with a nice secure kitchen - he is a champion counter surfer and a part time bin raider. With time and patience he will learn the food rules in his new home, but he will thrive with humans who remember to pop delicious tasty treats out of reach. Luckily, he does not guard any treasures that he helps himself to, and can be convinced to hand over items with the right trade.
If you're looking for a gold star good boy, with a sweet and gentle temperament, and a puppy-like playful side, Clarry just might be your perfect match!

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, some can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour.
As a result we look to rehome dogs into households where they are not left on their own for more than 4 hours per day on a regular basis, without either people or another dog for company. We are happy discuss strategies such as a dog walker or doggy day care. Going to work with you is also a great option
