About Tortilla
Tortilla is an incredibly gentle, affectionate and loving Torti who loves to cuddle and be around her human. She is a placid cat who thrives off of the energy of her human and would love nothing more than to be your companion. She loves belly rubs and would do best as the only pet in the house, but due to her calming nature she gets on well with other cats too.
If you are looking for a companion that will bring peacefulness into your life, then Tortilla is the perfect cat for you! She is ready to meet you now - all you have to do is complete the form below for a chance to meet this sweet girl.
She is happy to be carried around and loves a neck scratch.
Tortilla is FIV+, this means her immune system is not as robust as in an FIV negative cat. However, there is now a lot of research and studies that show FIV+ cats can live long, healthy lives just like FIV negative cats, if they receive a high quality diet and routine veterinary care, and live an indoor lifestyle to prevent exposure to harmful parasites and infectious diseases. For this reason she must be indoor only.

FIV negative and positive cats can live together with minimal risk of transmission of FIV. FIV is only transferred via deep bite wounds, not through behaviours such as mutual grooming or through fomites, as the virus can not survive outside the infected cat's body for any length of time.
