About Nala
Meet Narla!
Beautiful Narla is longing for a family to welcome her into their home & hearts. She comes from a background where she was left alone on a property for up to 3 weeks at a time. She was desperately lonely & didn't understand why there was no one around to take care of her.
She can, at times, feel a little shy around strangers & new experiences but with a handful of yummy treats, some kind words & gentle handling she soon gains confidence.
Despite her troubled past, she has a lovely nature; she is playful, affectionate & loves to do the Zoomies!
She enjoys the company of other dogs & would love to have a play-mate. A sociable older male might be a good fit. She is at the adolescence stage & that, paired with being left alone for so long, means that she can be a bit mouthy at times as a way to instigate play. With that in mind, we recommend no small kids - but dog-savvy teens would be ok. We suggest that the whole family come in & meet her prior to option, just to make sure that she would be the right fit for your family. She would love to live indoors with her new family, so she knows that she truly belongs.
Narla is learning to walk nicely on her harness & is super bright & eager to learn more.
Secure fencing & a high quality diet are needed to keep Narla happy, healthy & safe.
