Brax is one of the most beautiful cats you'll ever meet. He's very sweet, very gentle, very affectionate and does not have a mean bone in his body.

He loves human company and will follow you around the house and keep an eye on what you're up to. He enjoys lounging on the couch next to you and at certain times of the day will become super affectionate, rubbing up against your legs and wanting butt scratches.

His humans love him dearly but have sadly developed severe allergies to him, so they made the tough decision to find him a new home.

Brax enjoys human company but is also happy to chill out and do his own thing. He loves to be around people but is also a calm and independent cat that is happy to stay home on his own without any issues. He is very clean and always uses his litter box.

He loves ear scratches and chest rubs and is happy to be picked up and smooched, although he needs to trust you first. Although he was initially shy of strangers, he has become much more confident and now even greets visitors. And like most of us he can be a bit afraid of unfamiliar sounds.

One of Brax's favorite things to do is sit by the window or balcony and watch the people and animals pass by outside. He never tries to run away and is content to just kick back and watch the world go by from behind the glass.

Brax will eat pretty much anything but if you spoil him with somthing that he really likes he will become quite particular, turn his nose up at regular food and only want to eat this "special food" for a while lol. He is very sweet, very loving and would make the perfect companion for anyone that wants to add an abundance of love to their life.

Brax is approximately 8 years old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
