Willy – 4 months – smooth black and tan miniature male – DOB – 21/05/23
LOCATION: MANSFIELD BRISBANE SOUTH SIDE

Willy is a typical dachshund puppy who loves to play with anything he can get his teeth onto – balls, sticks, shoes, clothing, furniture etc. While initially hesitant with strangers, he quickly warms to most people and needs to be cuddled more often than not when left alone for too long. Willy does have some separation anxiety which appears to be helped by having a playmate of similar size and energy level to play with. Willy is largely toilet trained but at 4 months, still needs some guidance in this area. Willy is very quick to learn, having already mastered the use of ramps in his foster home.

Willy was one of a litter of 5 puppies that were surrendered along with their Mum and Dad to D2DR when they were just 4 days old due to financial hardship. The litter of 5 as well as Mum (Coco) and Dad (Louie) were all fostered in the same foster home. The whole family was together for 12-13 weeks so have had a wonderful upbringing and also integrated with other dachshunds and a couple of larger dogs in the foster home, ensuring the pups were very well socialised, happy, and healthy from Day 1 of their lives.

With all their vaccinations now under their belts and an excellent bill of health from our vets who have been caring for them since we got them, its Willy’s time to find his forever home.
Willy is very socialised, enjoys mixing in at the dog park everyday with his foster carer and several other dachshunds.

The family that is lucky to get Willy will certainly be blessed to have this beautiful boy around him.

Microchipped, fully vaccinated, fully health checked as per our Policy. BOTH PARENTS WERE DNA TESTED BY D2DR AND THIS IS AVAILABLE TO VIEW.

In addition to the Adoption Fee, there is a $500 de sex bond to be paid upon adoption which will be fully refunded upon proof of desexing certificate (valid only if desexed before Willy is 15 months of age and provided D2DR is not aware of Willy being used for any breeding).
