About Busta
Meet Busta, aka the happiest dog on earth
And he really really is. Busta will do a little jump of happiness on the spot when someone wants to say hi to him, and when he goes for walks he often likes to stop pedestrians and tell them how happy is he, and shares his love and happiness with big smiles and a blurry tail of wags.
Sometimes, Busta's foster mum wakes up at night to the sound of Busta wagging his tail in his sleep, his joy for life runs so deep he dreams it. So naturally he is an absolute delight to be around, always ready for a chat and a pat.
Busta is also CAT FRIENDLY ! He loves his foster sister but understands her boundaries and gives her space when she asks for it, never in her face unless she wants a little play. He likes dogs, but is too sensible for young or in his face types.
On lead, Busta has really learnt his manners in his time with his foster mum, he no longer pulls the lead, understands when to "leave" other dogs and ground objects, and is so pleasant and polite.
While Busta is 9 years old, you would never ever guess it, he has so much zest for life and has energy to burn, both mentally and physically, and he really loves his big morning walks, but is never trouble or destructive.
On the flip side he is also so very gentle and incredibly polite, and loves his snoozes, making him the most versatile doggo to suit any lifestyle from a young active family (busta loves children!), to a retired couple to a quiet single human occupied home; so long as he gets to go for his walk.
If I sound perfect for you, please complete the short adoption application form in the attached link, please note this is the only way your application will be considered: https://homelesshounds.com.au/adopt/dogs
Medical notes
Busta is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control.
Busta has a heart murmur which is managed with a little tablet before meals morning and night. His recent weight loss and increased level of activity has helped alleviate some growing arthritis concerns, and down the track arthritis injections may be required, as with any elderly puppy.
