About Alli
Hello! I’m so happy to meet you! I’m Alli. Short for Alley Cat.
Through no fault of my own, I found myself living on the streets. I’m now in foster care patiently waiting for my furever home – perhaps it’s with you!
I’m a dainty, delicate lady with very pretty dilute calico markings. Due to my time on the streets, I can sometimes be a bit of a scaredy cat when presented with new things. My foster carer says, despite my small size, I have the biggest heart for love and snuggles.
While I don’t like being picked up I will come to you. I’m happy to snuggle on your lap, or sit right next to you with my front paws on you. I love getting chin and cheek tickles and I’ll head bunt you for more if I think you haven’t done your daily best.
My manners are purrfect. I don’t do zoomies at 4am and I’ll never whack my paw in your face demanding my breakfast. Instead, I’ll wait patiently by the door, softly meowing until you decide to get out of bed.
I love my food so much that I always make a song and dance when you head to the kitchen. Yes!! I sing for my supper with sweet meows and chirrups. I will dance on my hind legs until you give me my food. Because of my slight food obsession, I should be given two wet meals a day, supplemented with some dry food to graze. My foster carer gives me puzzles to slow my eating down. I think I am great at them! I
My foster carer thinks I’d be best suited to a quiet home with no dogs. As I spent some time on the streets in a cat colony, I might be ok with another cat but you would need patience to make sure we take the time to be friends. My foster carer works from home and I think I’d like my furever home to have a human at home more often than not. But I’m not a clingy cat and I’ve really grown in confidence and independence since settling in with my foster carer.
I’ve been desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. My FIV test was negative.
I’m in good health. I’ll be your furever sweetheart if you simply open up your home to share your life with me. You wont be sorry. I may be small in stature but I have the biggest heart. To adopt me, see below.
Adoption details
Please direct messages to Rosie, our kitten adoption officer. Please provide as much details about your home and family as possible. We are a very busy vet hospital, so we prefer no phone calls :) Thank you.
IMPORTANT: All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious disease. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
Please note we do not hold kittens - it's a first in, first served basis once we have reviewed your application and invited you to meet the kitten.
