About Daisy
Meet Daisy a friendly, beach-loving, young at heart, eager to make new friends as her her loving owner can no longer care for her.
Background
Daisy is a sweet, older dog with a heart full of love and a passion for the beach. Despite her age, she's full of energy and enthusiasm, especially when it comes to frolicking in the sand and surf. Daisy's life has been a bit isolated in terms of socializing with other dogs, primarily due to her previous canine companion's dog-aggressive nature. However, don't let her lack of experience fool you; Daisy is genuinely interested in making new doggy friends and has never initiated any aggressive interactions herself.
Social Interactions with Dog:
When it comes to other dogs, Daisy can be a bit ""in your face"" initially. Her excitement and curiosity can be overwhelming for some, so she's looking for a furry companion who can tolerate her exuberance, especially in the early stages of their friendship. She's a quick learner and is eager to adapt her behaviour to suit the needs of her new doggy pals.
Interactions with Cats:
Daisy has shown a respectful attitude towards cats. If a feline friend prefers to keep their distance, she's more than happy to oblige and give them their space. She's not one to chase or pester, making her a considerate housemate for feline family members.
Love for People:
Daisy is an absolute people-person, or in her case, a people-dog! She adores human company and thrives on affection and attention. Her friendly demeanor makes her the perfect companion for individuals or families who are looking for a loyal and loving furry friend.
Interaction with Children:
While Daisy hasn't had much exposure to children, her gentle and friendly nature leads us to believe she would be just as charming with older kids as she is with adults.
In summary, Daisy is an older dog with a heart of gold and an unwavering love for the beach and people. She may need some time to adjust to other dogs, but her enthusiasm for making new friends is genuine. Her respectful attitude towards cats and her loving disposition towards people make her an ideal choice for a family or individual seeking a loyal and affectionate companion. Daisy's zest for life and willingness to adapt make her a wonderful addition to any home ready to share their love with this beautiful older gal.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.
2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.
3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.
4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.
