Hi hoomans, my name is Minxie and I'm an adorable little lady with a beautiful, soft and shiny velvety coat and I'm so looking forward to finding my forever home!

Nature
Since coming into care a little while go I've progressed in leaps and bounds, gaining confidence by the bucket load. I love to play and investigate everything. In fact, my typical day would be eat, play, sleep and repeat; and just like the proper little lady that I am - I use my litter tray perfectly.

I love being fussed and will reward you with head boops and a very loud purr. When you bend to stroke me I'll jump up to meet your hand, and occasionally I'll even get on your lap for a cuddle! I've recently discovered 'The Bed' and oh boy - do I love to snuggle in with my hoomans, especially on those cooler nights. Once I've leeched your body heat I'll go and snuggle up with my cat friend or 'Purr Buddy' as my foster purrents call him.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I currently live very happily with a few other cats - one of them is so nice that he 'play wrestles' with me and sometimes we like to chase each other around the hallway. I think I'd be very happy in my forever home with another cat friend (or two) after the correct introductions.

I haven't met any doggies or children yet but I think I might be OK with a gentle cat friendly doggie. I think I'd be better suited to older children as I have lots of energy and sometimes forget to keep my claws in.

Likes / Dislikes
I do like other cats, especially if they are friendly and like to play and snuggle. I also like FOOD and I especially like hoomans as they're in charge of FOOD. I do love my food - wet food and biccies please! I'll be giving you a noisy hurry at meal times, then I'll eat everything in one go and then I'll check out the other cat bowls just in case they left me anything.

I love to play, I've got lots of toys and my foster purr-ents like to tease me with the fluffy wand, which I really like. I love my play tunnel - that's sooooo much fun, and I also like to play chasey with the other cats. Then I like to find a nice comfy spot - usually next to one of my cat friends for snoozing, either on the cat tree or a nice cosy basket or even a warm sunny spot in the cat run.

In fact, I like just about everything - except that noisy vacuum thingy that Mum gets out sometimes; I'll go and hide while it’s making a racket but once it’s all quiet again I'll be out in no time.

My PURR-fect home would be with a new family who will give me a chance to settle in - I might be a little shy in a new environment at first but I'm a confident little lady and it won’t take me long. I'd love a cat friend playmate and lots of toys to keep me entertained, and hopefully a safe outdoor area to catch the sun occasionally.

Medical Notes: Minxie was exposed to Ringworm, a common fungal infection. She did not show symptoms and was given the all clear by the vet.
