Chokito is a friendly and happy dog who is always wagging his tail and when you look into his eyes, your heart melts.

He loves his human companions, particularly when they give lots of chin, chest and belly rubs, but he isn't a fan of tight cuddles. He will seek to be near you, wanting to lean against you on a couch, and if you move, Chokito will be right there with you as your shadow.

Chokito is a smart dog who is eager to learn, and has already learned the commands of sit, stay, come and wait. He is currently learning to walk on a lead, but this will require further training and patience from his owner. His toilet training is going well, but he needs to be reminded to go and do a ‘wee’ from time to time. He is a good sleeper in his crate, so you will sleep easy not needing to worry about him of a night. We don’t know what his previous life entailed, so at present everything is new including, people, cars, bikes, scooters and other animals, but he is quick to adjust. A commitment from his adopter to ongoing obedience training is highly recommended.

Chokito is currently in foster with four other dogs. If you have a dog, there will need to be an adjustment phase but he will adapt quickly to whatever the circumstance – whether it be with a doggy sibling or as an only dog.

Overall, Chokito is a friendly and adaptable puppy with a willingness to learn, and will provide a lifetime of love to his adopter.
