About Felicia
First things first-Felicia is stunning. She has one of those rare, striking looks that immediately grabs your attention and makes you feel very lucky to be in her presence. She's the kind of cat people will comment on, the kind you'll want to show off, the kind that looks like she belongs on the cover of a magazine, right before she sprints across the room at full speed for absolutely no reason.
Because Felicia doesn't just have energy. She IS energy. Living with her is like living with a tiny, furry toddler who has just downed a bottle of red cordial and decided sleep is optional. She throws herself into everything with enthusiasm, curiosity, and absolutely no concept of when it might be time to stop. Quiet moments are rare, predictable behaviour even rarer, and if there's an opportunity to turn something into a game (or a mess), Felicia will find it.
She is, quite simply, a menace ... but an entertaining one.
Felicia will need an adults-only home that understands she is not your typical laid-back companion. She can become overstimulated, she plays hard, and she needs people who can read her cues and give her space when needed. She isn't suited to homes with children or anyone looking for a calm, low-maintenance pet. Felicia also isn't a fan of other cats and would be happiest as the only pet in the household, where she can have all the attention (and all the space to zoom) to herself.
A home with Felicia must be set up for success, because without the right outlets, she will absolutely create her own, and you may not love her choices. She needs plenty of enrichment to keep both her body and her very busy brain occupied. Puzzle feeders are a must to slow her down and challenge her mentally, while multiple scratching posts and towers will help redirect her energy into appropriate outlets. Daily interactive play isn't optional, it's essential. Wand toys, chase games, anything that helps her burn off that endless energy will make a huge difference.
An ideal setup would also include access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor area, where Felicia can safely run, climb, and zoom to her heart's content. Giving her that extra space to expend energy will go a long way in helping her settle indoors.
Underneath all of the chaos, Felicia is a cat who genuinely thrives on engagement. She wants to be part of the action, involved in your life, and mentally stimulated. She's not going to quietly sit in the background-she is very much the main character. She will make you laugh daily, keep you on your toes, and bring a huge amount of personality into your home.
Felicia isn't for everyone. She will test your patience at times, and she will absolutely require time, structure, and ongoing effort to help her be her best self. But for the right person, someone with a sense of humour, a bit of resilience, and a willingness to embrace the chaos-she is going to be an incredibly rewarding companion.
If you're looking for a quiet, easy cat ... keep scrolling. If you're ready for a whirlwind wrapped in a very beautiful package, Felicia is waiting.
