Hi, I'm Motthew, and I'm one cool cat!

I was pretty shy when I came into the shelter so I have spent some time in foster care to help build my confidence!

This is what my foster family had to say about me:

"He may seem too scared or quiet but he is just a very sweet and loving cat.

He doesn't like change very much. He won't like strangers but I can tell you that he is a very loyal cat once you've gotten his trust.

He doesn't hiss or bite ever. He hasn't scratched our furniture. He never poops/pees outside of litter box.

If you have dealt with cats before and know how to read cat body language, getting to know him will be very easy (slow eye blinks are important!). He opened up to me on the very first day he came home. He is also very food motivated so making sure you have that one-on-one time with him during meals will help him trust you.

He is super friendly towards other cats. He would probably love another cat of the similar age so they can play while you're away.

He's just a sweet boy who's had a tough start to life and is waiting to find the right person."

As Motthew is FIV+ (and also due to his beautiful white fur) he will need to be an indoor-only kitty. Any cat friends in the household will also need to be FIV+.
