About Bear
Bear is a big, big fan of other cats. He was a little slow to warm to his foster carer but has made some major progress in the time he’s been in care. While he can still be a bit skittish, he does enjoy a good, strong pat and absolutely loves a cheek scratch.
Bear was rescued from the pound with his pound-mate Owl, as he was having a really hard time coping with the shelter environment. He instantly fell in love with the resident cats and other fosters as soon they arrived, and has a really great bond with Owl. He loves to wrestle with everyone and play chasey. He’s also a big fan of dangling toys and chasing balls.
Because he can still be a bit skittish, Bear will suit an indoor only home. He enjoys time on the balcony with the other cats in his foster home, supervised of course as he is a cheeky and curious cat. He also likes time spent in the window and cat tree watching the outside world.
Bear would benefit from a home with another confident cat to learn the ropes from and play with. He would also suit a home with one of his foster-mates (Owl, Mittens, Noni – also listed with Tails of the Forgotten Paws) if you are keen to adopt a pair… or more!
