About Isaac
With his twinkling green eyes and supremely fluffy tuxedo suit, Isaac is one handsome boy! Rescued from the street in December 2022, Isaac moved in and adapted very quickly. From the very outset, no animosity with his foster sisters, and he appears happy to share the couch with any of his siblings but he does often have boxing spats with his foster brother that cause no harm but say things are not quite right between them. For one thing, they both want to eat everybody’s food!
Occasionally, Isaac slips through the back door and plops himself down in a sunny spot for a snooze. If you lose sight of him, he’s back in a flash with one shake of his biscuit box. Indoors or outdoors, he might quietly climb up onto your lap. Stroke him and he’ll give you a lick back. He doesn’t make a big production about things but you know he is so grateful to be there and before you know it, he has stolen your heart.
We think Isaac has Maine Coon in him as he looks very much like one, but, having come to us as a stray we cant be certain.
Every home has its stresses and Isaac is the newcomer in an established multi-cat household. Isaac has recently had a bout of feline lower urinary tract disease which the vet feels was triggered by stress. He has completely recovered and now eats a prescription diet to reduce the chance of a recurrence. To keep Isaac at his most chilled, a single cat household or paired with a female cat is advised.
