Hello! I'm Jackie.

I am a sweet girl looking for someone knowledgeable with Cattle Dogs to be my person as I have a few quirks. I enjoy attention but can get a little overwhelmed by too many pats, especially when I don't know you well. So I'm after a household aged 13 and up so everyone can understand I may take some time to settle in and get used to things and that I enjoy breaks from pats. Sometimes a girl just wants a little personal space, y'know?

I like tennis balls, so would love it if you'd provide me some of these! Like dogs of my breed, I thrive on physical and mental stimulation, so I would love to be your buddy in whatever you do. I would be a suited to a household where someone is home more often than not as I want to be where you are and will need some time to get used to being by myself.

I would be suited as a solo dog home as I can be unsure of other dogs. I have met some other dogs here in the shelter but I can be picky about who I make friends with.
