About Scooby - 4 Year Old Mixed Breed (Trial)
Scooby is a super sweet boy looking for his perfect forever home.
Scooby’s favourite things include:
- Snuggling up next to you on the lounge
- Gentle pats on the back
- Having a play with his family and chasing a ball
- Laying on the grass in the sun or relaxing on an outdoor lounge
- Lots of naps
Although Scooby wasn’t exposed to much in his first few years, he has shown he has a beautiful nature and a lot of love to give. He can be easily startled, so his new owners would need to be committed to a dog with a timid nature.
The best fit for Scooby is someone who is home more often than not, and may also be suited to a calm, friendly female dog with similar energy levels.
Scooby is housetrained and sleeps inside in his foster home. He walks well on lead but will need ongoing training to keep up his good progress and to not react to dogs behind fences. He also travels well in the car.
Scooby is best suited to a home without kids due to being a bit on the anxious side. He hasn’t had exposure to cats so isn’t likely to be suited to living with them.
Scooby is a large dog with loads of love to give. He will need someone in his life who is prepared to have a larger dog and all that goes with it.
Scooby's overview
- Needs a family who has experience with large breeds.
- Loves humans so needs to be welcomed into the family home and share adventures.
- Would love a family that works from home, is retired or who are around more often than not.
- Needs to be an inside/outside dog with a bed inside at night.
- Prefers a home without young children.
- Fully fenced large yard.
