Hi friends, my name is Tiger!
I am a friendly, happy boy who was surrendered by my breeders because they couldn't take care of me any more. Sadly they found themselves over-bred and unable to keep up good care of us and thankfully they finally decided to do the right thing and reach out to a rescue. I spent a lot of my time before coming into care, in a dog run. I wasn't abused, just ignored a bit and so I'm really enjoying life in foster care now that I know what affection and fun looks like!
I'm a spirited purebred boxer with boundless energy and a heart full of love. At just one year old, I'm ready to find my forever home with a family that shares my zest for life! I would love to have a dog friend to play with; preferable another medium-large breed who doesn't mind a bit of rough and tumble- I'm a very playful doggo who loves to wrestle and play tug a war! I'm told my friendly nature and trusting gaze are pretty heartwarming. I cherish every moment of snuggles and play time I can get have an infectious happiness and enthusiasm that really uplifts those around me.
I'm a quick learner and already know my basic commands. Whether it's playtime in the park or a cozy cuddle on the couch, I'm always up for an adventure. I haven't spent much time inside yet so I'd need some training if you want me to be an inside doggo! I am fully grown at 18kg and just above knee height and have a beautiful brindle coat! I haven't had a huge amount of interaction with small children yet so I'd prefer to live with kids 6 and above- just so I don't accidentally knock them as sometimes I get excited and wriggle too hard!
I absolutely adore meeting new friends, and my social nature means I get along famously with other dogs. I'd be thrilled to have some furry companions to share my days with- but please no cats. I don't like them much! Just like many dogs, I've got heaps of energy and a real hankering for mental stimulation. When I'm not properly engaged, I sometimes find myself resorting to a bit of chewing and digging - it's just my way of beating the boredom blues. With the right activities and mental challenges, my behavior can really shape up. Interactive toys, regular romps, and some structured playtime could do wonders to keep me grinning and occupied!
I travel well in the car, not getting car sick and I was really well behaved at the vet. I'm a great little friend and would fit well into any active and experienced family!
My perfect furever humans are all in- committed to giving me the best environment possible, and making sure I've got plenty of ways to let my true self shine. I'm hoping you'll find ways to spice up my day-to-day routine, so I can be the absolute best version of me! I can't wait to be a part of your family and bring boundless joy and energy into your life.

Adoption details
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following:
- Real estate approval
- Fence requirements
- Outside shelter areas
- Other resident pets fully vaccinated and preferably desexed
- The rescue pet's dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed, age
- Enrichment, exercise and training needs of pet you are applying for
- If you have not read our adoption process below in full, please do not apply until you have.
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applicants may meet the animal. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the pet. We will not contact you if you do not complete the form in full AND provided the required photos of yard/fencing within 48hrs. If you apply to adopt but require us to hold the pet more than 3 days before meeting, we will ask you for a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the pet, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters. This holding deposit will be subtracted from the adoption fee should you adopt the animal on hold for you.

NEED TRANSPORT?
1. Apply to adopt per the above process.
2. Get quotes and select your desired transporter. We recommend Aeropets, Jetpets, and Dogtainers. Contact us for weights, height etc where needed. We also recommend Pet Waggin pet transport who can assist with road transport.
3. Message or email us to say you have applied and that you will require transport. Tell us which company and a potential departure date from that pet's nearest airport or meet point.
4. If your application is successful, we will lock in a date with you, coordinate any required 'fit to fly' certifications, a food delivery to your home, and appropriate training to make your new pet as comfortable on transport as possible.
5. All adoption contracts, adoption fees, and photo ID must be submitted to us via email before animal boards transport.
We will take into consideration the pet's ability to travel safely and comfortably before agreeing to send them on transport, and expect a high level of care from whatever company is engaged to move the animal.
