About Tara
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- A home with lots of love to give this beautiful gal
Tara is a sweet, gentle, cuddle loving, beautiful girl! She has absolutely stolen our hearts and I know she will steal her future parents hearts as well
Tara has been living with a male greyhound and they quickly became best friends, although we do think she would suit being a solo dog also. Tara sleeps on the couch all day and is fine being left alone, she will wag her tail and get very excited when you return. Tara doesn’t really play with toys but will do the occasional zoomie when she’s excited. Tara walks really well on the lead and only needs about a 30 minute walk. She will occasionally freeze on her walk so will benefit from a leader who will encourage and show her the way, however she is improving everyday. Tara has met many dogs on her walk, big or small and she is either happy to sniff and say hello or stop and watch them walk by.
She is extremely friendly with people also and loves a scratch under her chin or around her ears. Tara travels well in the car but may need a hand getting into bigger cars. Tara can be a bit nervous around busy roads or loud noises. Tara sleeps on the couch all day and sometimes will look outside and get excited watching a dog walk by the house and lets off a rare playful bark. Tara is such a sweet soul and will be a loving addition to your home.
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
