About Stitch
Meet Stitch, a lovely natured girl with a stunning shiny black coat!
Stitch is very energetic and loves to play. Stitch is looking for an active family who can provide her with space to run and things to do. Being a working breed, Stitch loves having a job to do and is really enjoying learning new skills in our training program. Her intelligence means she has heaps of potential to become an awesome family dog who will love to join in on all your family outings and adventures.
If you think Stitch could be the perfect addition to your family, please contact our Shelter Manager Yvette on 0421 831 128 for more information.
Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: friendsofthepound.com/adoption-apply
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on the cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten. and 15-20 years for a puppy.
