About Norman - 6 Month Old Catahoula X (Trial)
Meet Norman with the good manners. Norman has a loveable personality with eyes to match and a little flat snoot that make him quite the stunner. He will melt your heart. He's a medium build, and won't be a big dog at all. Quite typical of a staffy or boxer frame.
Norman is eager to please and so much love to give. He is keen to be amongst all of the action and also enjoys snuggles. He is happy to curl up on the floor next to you and watch some tv. He is learning commands such as sit, stay, wait, drop and on you bed (place) and thoroughly enjoys his training sessions. You and him will both will benefit from ongoing training and obedience classes.
Norman is a clever pup and is engaged and intune with his persons. He is an absolute shadow and walks everywhere at your heel. He is toilet trained and uses a doggy door to access outside, and is happy to sleep on the floor all night.
Norman currently lives with a foster sibling to keep him company throughout the day while their carers are at work. He accepts new dogs easily and loves to play nicely and is not overwhelming.
Norman is a super sweet natured young dog, with all the hard puppy stage behind you. He is happy to be involved in the families activities and follow you around the house while you complete daily tasks. He is a dog who just wants to please. He will make a perfect family dog for those that make dogs integral in the family.
Normans ideal home:
- Another doggie friend to keep him company when his family isn’t home, or someone in the family home more often than not to keep him company.
- Children older than 12 years of age
- No pocket pets.
- A family committed to ongoing training of basic manners and obedience as he grows.
- A home where he is welcomed as one of the family members and is allowed inside for family interactions.
- A family committed to socialising Norman with other friendly pups/dogs, people and experiences.
- Norman requires a reasonable sized yard with good fencing, and no small gaps. Please no rural fencing, apartments or courtyards.
Norman is best to be homed with children over the age of 12, and no pocket pets. Cats are untested. Norman would make a great family dog, and be keen to enjoy the family activities, car trips and beach days.
Normans adoption fee is $600. He is desexed, microchipped, 3 x vaccinations, flea, tick and worming treated.
Norman is in foster care in Belmont NSW. He is available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney.
