About Lexi - 2 Year Old Chihuahua X (Trial)
Lexi has just had her first ever groom and feels fresh as a daisy ready to start her new life in her furever home.
She is a real cutie pie. She weighs a tiny 4.5kg and is sweet as honey. She is gentle, kind, loving and is just starting to come out of her shell and be playful. She is a snuggly lap dog who is also easily startled so she would prefer a quiet forever home and quiet neighbourhood please.
Lexi needs someone who will go slow with her and will work on gaining her confidence. Someone who will slowly introduce her to the world of socialising, training in commands and possibly puppy school. She must be an inside dog, preferably with a doggy door so she can access the back yard, which will help her to continue her toilet training.
To date she has not had lead training, but in time and as she gains confidence, I am sure she would love to go for walks to explore her new surrounds and new life.
Lexi is currently with another 3 small foster siblings and learning from them following their lead, watching their behaviour, learning manners, and playing games and zoomies. She is learning to sit and stay. She would dearly love small doggo company to play with and learn from at her new forever home.
Lexi looooves to sleep in her foster carers bed and snuggle all night long.
Lexi in brief:
• Working on house training and learning the doggy door.
• Untested with cats.
• Untested with small kids.
• Needs a secure yard no gaps and unable to dig under.
• Needs a quiet home.
Lexi is in foster care in Medowie, NSW, and is not available for interstate adoption. Her adoption fee is $700. She is desexed, vaccinated, flea, tick and worm treated.
