About Jerry
Introducing the beautiful Jerry!
Jerry is a Kelpie x born 27th October 2022.
Despite her name, Jerry is in fact a female! Jerry was brought in to us as a stray & unfortunately her owners didn't come looking for her. She is an incredibly sweet girl, however she is very timid. We're unsure if it's related to her timidness or if she's never been trained, but Jerry is quite scared on lead & usually prefers to army crawl instead of walk. Jerry's new family will need to be patient with her while she learns to trust and gets to know her new surroundings. She will need lots of love & encouragement. Despite her timidness, Jerry seems to be quite good with children.
Jerry tested very well with other dogs and seemed to gain more confidence when around them. She would suit a home with other dogs, or to be the spoilt only "child" at home.
Jerry was unfazed by cats & pocket pets, so we believe she could be suitable to live with smaller animals at home. We would recommend slow & control introductions to ensure a safe & happy relationship between them.
Jerry has shown no signs of food aggression or separation anxiety since being at the facility.
Jerry is such a loving girl who wants nothing more than a home she can call her own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Jerry, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Jerry’s adoption fee is $500, and this includes her desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. Jerry is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Jerry is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
