About Max
Hey there, I'm Max, and I've been waiting to share my story with you. You see, I'm not just your typical Staffy cross – I'm a real heart-warmer, and I'm on the lookout for love.
I'm a healthy three-year-old, tipping the scales at 26 kg of pure love. Baths? No problem. I stand patiently in the shower and come out squeaky clean. I've been taught the house rules too. No beds or couches for me, and I won't be sneaking into the kitchen.
I am an indoor kinda guy. I like being close to my humans, especially the little ones. Kids and I, we're like peas in a pod. They're my playmates, and I've got their backs like a loyal guardian. Whenever I strut my stuff on our afternoon walks, the neighbourhood kids can't resist coming over for a cuddle.
I'm not the type to bark your ears off, but I do love a good chat. I'm pretty sure I understand every word you say. And when it comes to keeping time, well, I'm practically a furry clock. I can tell you down to the minute when it's time for our walks and dinner.
I've had some formal training, so I'm a champ on a leash and super obedient when other dogs approach. No fuss, just smooth sailing with me. I'm not the kind to jump on you, chew up your stuff, or dig craters in the yard. Nope, I'm all about sticking close to my family. Although, I do have this little quirk – I can't resist a good play session with empty milk containers. They're like my sworn enemies, but in a playful way, you know?
I'm the perfect fit for a home where my humans are around a lot, whether they're working from home, retired, or semi-retired. I thrive on the company of my people. While I've met a visiting dog or two within my territory, I'll let you in on a secret: I'd probably prefer to have you all to myself.
At night, I cozy up in my crate inside. I promise I'm more than just a dog – I'm a loyal, loving companion, ready to bring warmth and happiness into your life. If you're on the lookout for a good boy with a heart full of love, look no further. I'm right here, waiting to be your best friend and make some beautiful memories together. Are you ready to give me a forever home filled with love and cuddles?
Medical notes
Vaccinations, desexing, microchip, and heartworm checks are provided by the rescue.
If there is outstanding vet work, the rescue will organise it with one of their partner vets. If the adopter would like to take over the vet work at their own cost to their own vet, this can be transferred.
