About Astrid
This beautiful girl is Astrid, a domestic short haired born 29th March 2023.
Astrid was brought in to the facility with her mum Gracie. Unfortunately they both became very stressed in this environment & we needed to separate them.
Astrid is still learning how to socialise with other cats, so for the time being we are recommending she be the spoilt "only child" at home. We are open to her being rehomed with another cat, if you have a way to separate them while she learns to trust her new companion. We have also noticed that she is very uncomfortable around dogs, so she will need a home with no canine friends.
Astrid is a very sweet & playful kitten. She can be a little timid when you first meet her, but it doesn't take long before she wants to play & wrestle.
Astrid LOVES toys & like most kittens, would play all day if you let her. She does like to play bite when wrestling, so we are recommending a home with older children.
Astrid will be rehomed to a family who will keep her as an inside cat only.
Astrid is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.
If you think you could be that furever family for Astrid, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Her adoption fee is $300 & this includes her desexing, vaccination and lifetime registrations. She is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Astrid is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
