About Ginkgo π€π
Ginkgo is a seriously beautiful fluffy Pomeranian who has had a rough start to life. Heβs a sweet, loving, affectionate boy once he feels comfortable around you. He loves to play, heβs very fun-loving and sweet.
We think he is absolutely awesome and so does his wonderful foster carer!!
Gingko will need a patient and dog-savvy owner who will do training with him. If youβre home a lot, this would be an ideal situation for Ginkgo.
Ginkgo is head shy when he first meets new people, and has fear around being touched on the neck and head which can lead to him snapping or biting. We can talk you through, and how to avoid this.
His foster carer has proven that he will not bite unless heβs fearful or threatened: his foster carer was patient with him and let him approach him in the first few days, and watched his body language, and he has only received love and affection from Ginkgo. If you take things slow with this little man, youβll be rewarded with a wonderful, loyal, loving companion!!
We are not sure of his history, but he will also need to continue toilet training. A home with adults will probably suit him best as he can find children a bit loud and scary.
With a bit of training and allowing him to finally settle and relax into knowing he is safe, loved and secure, Ginkgo will be a truly wonderful friend and companion. Some dogs go with the flow in a pound environment, others find it terrifying and need a helping hand, and Ginkgo will need a loving owner who will be patient with him as he finds his feet (paws).
Gingko is good with other dogs and heβs also sweet and gentle with cats. Heβs a gorgeous boy who just needs some confidence building.
He came to us very matted so youβll notice heβs had quite a short haircut π never fear, his fur will grow back soon!!

Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
