About Xavier
Meet Xavier!
This adorable young doggo is looking for a loving home with an owner who can provide lots of cuddles, playtime and treats. He loves squeaky toys, playing tug-of-war with other pups, and running around outside. He also has a bit of a purr like a cat when cuddled!
Xavier is currently not a huge fan of going for car rides, and is unsure of people he doesn't know. A calm home environment would be ideal for him with a patient family who can show him the way. Though he is initially unsure of people he does not know, once he trusts someone he is very friendly and loves to be snuggled and loved by those he knows and trusts.
Xavier would do best in a home without toddlers as he can be timid around them but is ok with tweens. He is untested with cats. He is still working on his house training. With the right owner to show him the ropes, Xavier will make an amazing companion who just needs some support to build his confidence back up again.
Dogs make wonderful companions, and the benefits of bringing one home are immense. They're loyal, loving, and endlessly entertaining. Plus, you'll never be lonely or bored with a pup by your side.
Adopting a dog can also provide you with an opportunity to give a pup in need a second chance. With the right amount of love and patience, you can help your pooch become a confident, well-rounded canine companion.
You'll also get to experience the unique bond between two-legged and four-legged friends. Plus, dogs can provide you with plenty of physical and mental health benefits. From providing you with daily exercise, to reducing stress and anxiety, to providing you with unconditional love and companionship, the advantages of canine ownership are endless
So, if you're ready to welcome a pup into your life, consider adopting a dog today. You won't regret it!

I CAN FLY TO PERTH!
Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth.
4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.
2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.
3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.
4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.
NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.
*Puppies may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
