About Mollie
Mollie is available for fostering or adoption
Mollie's requirements;
- Large yard with secure fencing
- To be with a desexed male playful resident dog (not senior)
- Someone that understand the physical and mental needs of an energetic smart kelpie.
- People that can recognise and meet any special requirements that maybe needed to help her with having 3 legs.
- A suitable foster family that can care for mollie ASAP
- Mollie is looking to continue her inside outside lifestyle. And to sleep inside of a night.
Mollie is one special girl. Although she has three legs, you would never guess (Mollie lost her leg in an accident before coming to us); she is fun loving and enjoys life and can keep up with dogs of similar age and breeds.
Mollie can be in a home with another energetic desexed male dog (not senior or young pup). Mollie will need a large yard and people that are experienced in breeds with higher energy levels and given exercise and activities suitable for a 3 legged dog like swimming, because she is high energy.
Mollie loves nothing more than playing with other dogs, chasing balls and playing with toys. She is extremely social, and her favourite things are belly rub, balls and playing. She can get a little excited around young children. Mollie has herding instincts which would be expected or her breed. she will need a home that understands kelpies.
Mollie will need a home that understands that some things may need to be adapted for her to be comfortable. For example, a raised dinner bowl, carpet flooring or mats, and little to no stairs. Mollie is toilet and crate trained. Her crate helps encourage her to rest and to take a break from all things fun.
*PLEASE read the ‘profile’ and ‘adoption details’ thoroughly before enquiring with a detailed email. *

Medical notes
Mollie has three legs but this doesn't slow her down.

Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet. We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
