Hello! My name is Ned, and I’m the cutest little panda bear you’ll ever meet - right down to my adorable tailless bum! Can you believe I’ve been up for adoption for two years now, and no one has ever come to meet me?!

Nature
I’m super confident around people and love to strut my stuff - exploring the house, peering out windows, and keeping a close eye on my humans. I’m never far from my Foster Mum - especially at dinner time (because, priorities!) I do things on my own terms, so while I’m curious about pats (I watch the other cats get them with interest), I’m still figuring out how I feel about them. Right now, I’ll let my Foster Mum give me pats while I eat, but outside of meal times, I prefer my personal space. If you get a little too close for comfort, I might give a cheeky little bat - nothing personal, just a reminder that I like my independence.

I’m looking for a patient and loving home, with humans who will let me settle at my own pace. With time, I might just decide that pats and cuddles are the best thing ever - but for now, I’m happy ruling your home from a comfortable distance! If you’re looking for a confident, quirky, and independent kitty with a hint of sass, I just might be your guy.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I live with a baby who doesn’t bother me at all. As long as I have my own space and am not chased or cornered, I’m happy to coexist with children.

I get along well with other cats and even the 50 kg dog in my foster home, so I’d be happy living with some furry friends.

My PURR-fect home would be a calm, patient, and gentle family who will respect my space and love me for who I am. Other friendly pets would be great, but I’d also be happy doing my own thing. I’d like an indoor-only home - I’ve seen enough of the outside world, and I’d much rather be safe inside.

*Ned's adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment.

Medical Notes: Ned suffered from a degloving injury to his tail prior to coming into our care. He underwent surgery to amputate his tail and has recovered well.

Ned has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a virus that can affect his immune system, however, he can still potentially live a long healthy life. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds. Due to his FIV Ned will need to be an indoor only cat. FIV cats can live harmoniously with other cats however slow introductions are required to ensure they do not fight.

Ned has Gingivitis, which is inflammation of the gums. This condition may require treatment on and off throughout his life. Ned will need his teeth checked at his annual vaccination. He may need treatment in between these times (of steroids and/or antibiotics) if the condition worsens. He may need teeth extracted in the future.
