Hi, I’m Ned — your very own tailless panda bear with a heart of gold and a personality all my own.

Nature
I’ve been in foster care for almost three years now, patiently waiting for the family who will finally see me for the treasure I am. I don’t know how I haven’t been adopted yet… I’m adorable, gentle, quirky, and the sweetest little boy, just with my own unique way of showing love.

My story started in a pretty tough place. I was found alone, injured, and in a lot of pain. My tail was so badly damaged that only exposed bone remained. I wasn’t used to people and didn’t know how to trust them, but the Angels rushed me into emergency surgery and gave me a safe place to heal. That’s how I became the tailless panda bear you see today.

Since then, I’ve blossomed into a confident, happy, independent little man who loves being part of a home—just without the need for cuddles or pats. I’m not a touchy-feely kitty, but I am a deeply sweet one. I love to coexist with my humans, always nearby, always watching, and always part of the family.

I’m chatty when dinner is late (I have strong opinions about food schedules!). I’ve recently started showing my playful side too, tapping at your feet or hands from under the bed, zooming around the house with the other cats, and playing with my Catit Senses ball circuit like a little champion.

I don’t need physical affection to bond with you. I bond through presence, routine, trust, and simply sharing space. I’m the kind of cat who makes your home feel full just by being there.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I’m a fantastic coexisting companion. I’m happy living with calm children, other cats, and even big dogs, as long as no one tries to corner me or force affection.

I absolutely adore other cats, both adults and kittens, and love playing chasey with them, so a friendly feline buddy would be wonderful.

Likes / Dislikes
❤️ Biscuits, wet food, and creamy treats—I’m very enthusiastic about food.
❤️ Playing under the bed (feet and hands beware!).
❤️ My Catit Senses ball circuit.
❤️ Playing chasey with other kitties.
❤️ Supervising the household and being part of the daily rhythm.
❤️ Peacefully coexisting with my humans.

❌ Being touched when I’m not ready. I prefer admiration from a respectful distance.

My PURR-fect home would be a calm, patient home that understands affection comes in many forms. I may never be a lap cat, but I’ll be a loyal, gentle, comforting presence who loves being part of your everyday life. After nearly three years in foster care, I’m so ready for my forever family.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

*Ned's adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment.

Medical Notes: Ned suffered from a degloving injury to his tail prior to coming into our care. He underwent surgery to amputate his tail and has recovered well.

Ned has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a virus that can affect his immune system, however, he can still potentially live a long healthy life. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds. Due to his FIV Ned will need to be an indoor only cat. FIV cats can live harmoniously with other cats however slow introductions are required to ensure they do not fight.

Ned has Gingivitis, which is inflammation of the gums. This condition may require treatment on and off throughout his life. Ned will need his teeth checked at his annual vaccination. He may need treatment in between these times (of steroids and/or antibiotics) if the condition worsens. He may need teeth extracted in the future.
