About Martha - Special Needs
Martha is legitimately one of the sweetest cats I have EVER met!
She gives the best cuddles and despite her age, she plays like a giddy kitten and it's an absolute joy to watch!
Martha is a teeny tiny little girl, who has them most adorable little grin, due to her recent teeth removal!
Martha has deformities in both front legs, which we believe she has has since birth. She gets around well, but will need a strictly indoor only home, as she is not equipped to be outdoors and a home with no or few stairs would be best.
When she arrived, Martha has terribly rotted teeth and her feet seemed a bit sore, but after a dental to make her feel better (she now has no remaining teeth, so should never need dental work again!), a course of pain relief/anti inflammatories, and starting her on Glucosamine supplements, she seems much more comfortable and her feet don't seem to bother her at all.
Martha will likely need to remain on the supplements (which are inexpensive and can be added to her food) for the rest of her life and may need some pain relief at certain times, as she gets older.
Martha is a happy, vibrant, loving girl, who would prefer to be an only pet, in a quiet, mature home. She's got so much love to give to her new human and she would make a wonderful companion for a single professional or a retiree!
Martha is in care in Croydon
Medical notes
Martha goes to her new home desexed, microchipped, flea and worm treated and current in vaccinations. She has also had a complete dental (no remaining teeth) but this does not affect what she can eat, and she still happily eats dry food.
Martha has deformities in her front legs that will require ongoing support as she ages, to minimise any pain they may cause her. This is in the form of Glucosamine supplements and the occasional course of pain relief/anti inflammatories.
